Quality Engineer

Position Description

The Quality Engineer is responsible for customer quality of our systems and all aspects related to product changes, suppliers, production, improvements, and launches. The position reports directly to the Quality Manager.

Essential Duties

• Ensure compliance to internal ISO requirements.
• Lead weekly quality meetings and problem-solving activities with production and engineering teams.
• Ensure daily data collection of inspections with quality tech. and improve first pass yield %.
• Conduct review of testing process / procedures and implement corrections and improve efficiency.
• Work in a team environment to address customer issues for out of box failures.
• Lead and assist in root cause analysis and facilitate the corrective / preventative action of quality issues.

Work Conditions

While performing the duties of this job in the plant or warehouse, the employee can be exposed to noise. The noise level is usually moderate but hearing protection may be required in designated areas.
