Security Officer Unarmed Government Patrol Driver

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will support a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, reflecting Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork while always acting with integrity.

Pay Rate : $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as directed during incidents or emergencies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
