About The Position

Experience : 2+ years in Telemetry / Cardiac care, including vascular experience preferred.

License : State Nursing License

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

Cardiac rhythm experience required.

Experience with ALaris IV pump and wound vac.

Drip / titration proficiency / experience required.

One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the last 2 years of employment / contract.

Description :

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients via the application of the nursing process.

You will care for patients with conditions such as CABG, ICD, Pacemaker issues, and managing cardiac drips including nitroglycerin, cardene, heparin, diltiazem, and dopamine.

The patient ratio is 1 : 6 during night shifts.

This unit has a size of 24 beds with telemetry tech monitoring.

You will be required to float across various campuses and similar units.

Scrubs must be navy blue and solid colors.

There will be a requirement to work two out of three winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).

During the designated holiday window, there is a limit of one day off request.

Travelers are required to provide proof of taxable address for verification.

You will participate in every fourth weekend and holiday rotation if scheduled.

You will be an integral part of the care team, ensuring proactive patient management and optimal health outcomes.
