About the Role
We are seeking a strategic technology leader to serve as Enterprise Architecture & Tech Services Lead within a government healthcare program. This position is central to advancing the client's mission through world-class enterprise architecture, modernization, and digital service excellence.
As a trusted advisor to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will drive the technical vision, lead architecture and service delivery initiatives, and shape enterprise-wide strategies that improve interoperability, performance, and user experience across the federal healthcare ecosystem.
This role is ideal for a forward-thinking architect who thrives at the intersection of strategy, systems integration, and large-scale digital transformation in regulated or government environments.

Architecture Governance : Lead the Architecture & Service Excellence organization, managing end-to-end enterprise architecture across business, cloud, data, and technology domains.Innovation & Modernization : Drive interoperability, cloud adoption, and data integration strategies while ensuring compliance with U.S. government, HIPAA, and FedRAMP compliance standards.Operational Excellence : Deliver measurable improvements in service delivery, user satisfaction, and mission outcomes through clear objectives and key results for performance management.CrossFunctional Collaboration : Engage senior leaders, product teams, and government stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.Mentorship & Influence : Build and guide high-performing architecture teams, promoting innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.Thought Leadership : Represent the organization in high-stakes technical discussions, positioning the client's organization as a leader in secure, scalable, and interoperable digital health solutions.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).8-10+ years in enterprise architecture and technology leadership for large, complex programs; preferably in healthcare, government, or defense sectors.Proven success shaping enterprise roadmaps and influencing technical decisions at the exec level.Deep knowledge of Agile, software development lifecycle, and government acquisition processes.Advanced understanding of cloud architecture, Zero Trust, and data interoperability strategies.Expertise in API-driven integrations, data pipelines, and enterprise data models that support advanced analytics and AI-readiness.Strong analytical and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to brief senior stakeholders on complex technical concepts.Willingness to attend client meetings in Rosslyn, VA as needed.U.S. citizenship is required; Active Secret clearance is preferred.Seniority level
