job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMust have satisfactorily completed a two - year training program in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent California State license CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) Must be certified through the ARRT New hires or transfers to a different modality must achieve certification within six months of that assignment Must maintain current CPR certification Venipuncture certification Must be current with continuing education requirements Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Strong interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of teamwork Comprehensive medical coverage that covers many common services at no cost or for a low copay. - The Nuclear Medicine Technologist model's adherence to the Hospital's applicable policies, protocols, practices and expectations
- Nuclear Medicine imaging and computer manipulation and processing
- Camera quality control radiation safety
- Radioisotope administration and documentation
- Image processing and labeling
- Scheduling of procedures
- Use of office computers, filing system, phone and paging systems
- Transporting of patients
