Curriculum Coordinator, Extended Education Ventures, UT Austin. Location : UT Main Campus. Weekly Scheduled Hours : 40. FLSA Status : Non-Exempt. Earliest Start Date : Sep 29, 2025. Position Duration : Expected to Continue. Position Open To : All Applicants.
Purpose : This position supports OLLI's curriculum development by collaborating with curriculum committees and member volunteers to design inspired, thought-provoking course content that reflects member interests. The role facilitates the use of online and classroom platforms, provides training for instructors and volunteers, coordinates the delivery of classes in various formats, and ensures high-quality digital resources are available for ongoing learning. Success requires the ability to work both collaboratively and independently with a high degree of self-motivation.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate also brings a minimum of three years' experience in program coordination or management. The candidate brings strong self-accountability, a professional demeanor, and exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Writing and editing expertise should be complemented by solid technological proficiency, including demonstrated competence with Microsoft Word. Displays clarity in communication, as well as fosters and thrives in a collaborative environment. Additionally, works self-sufficiently with minimal supervision. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with image and video editing and desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro, Microsoft Publisher). Proficiency using Zoom videoconferencing, especially hosting. Experience with audio-visual equipment and integrated classroom technologies. Comfort working with highly invested, engaged, and mission-driven volunteers. Experience handling moderate to high call volume in a professional manner.
Salary
Salary Range : $45,000 + depending on qualifications

Retirement Plan Eligibility
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
