Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years CVOR Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A premier hospital in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking an experienced CVOR Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic and well-supported operating room. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of dedicated CVOR experience and the ability to scrub a variety of services. This facility performs an average of 2 open-heart procedures (CABG / valve replacements) and 2 cardiothoracic surgeries (e.g., thoracotomies) per week. Reliability is essential, and while call is required , the likelihood of being called in is very minimal .

Schedule & Call Requirements :

Full-time, 13-week contract

On-call required after scheduled shifts

24-hour weekend call coverage, averaging 2 weekends per month

Call schedule is based on procedure needs , not fixed days includes weekends

Must be able to scrub other services when cardiac is not scheduled

Trauma and robotic surgery experience is highly preferred

Key Qualifications :

2+ years of CVOR experience (required)

Experience with CABG, valve replacements, and thoracotomies

Ability to scrub in on multiple specialties

Strong reliability and adaptability

BLS and applicable surgical technologist certifications
