Essential Duties And Responsibilities :

• Installation and startup of multiple types of HVAC equipment.
• Effectively communicate with customers regarding planned tasking, issues, or impacts.
• Work with all electrical components from disconnect throughout equipment.
• Accurately and thoroughly document hours worked, tasking performed, materials used, and processes involved.
• Accomplish tasking working from Job Plans, verbal information, schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, documents, vendor / manufacturer manuals, and applicable specifications and codes.
• Perform tasks outdoors in environmentally challenging conditions including wind and extreme cold weather.
• Proactively identify any unsafe conditions or hazards and communicate them effectively.
• Participate in Safety Program requirements.
• Assist with equipment installation
• Assist with piping connections at unit, including condensate, refrigerant lines, and Chilled, Hot water.
• Sheet metal- flue connections to equipment
• Pressure test, evacuation and charge refrigerant containing equipment
• Controls wiring / Electrical connections at equipment
• Unit startups including boilers, chillers, water heaters, air compressors, RTU, mini splits, split systems, hanging heaters, ETC.
• Overflow warranty diagnostic or repair during new equipment labor warranty period (when service cannot support)- after labor warranty expiration the call would be sent to the service dept.
