Wonderspring is seeking a Food Service Aide  to join our vibrant team at our Star 4 New Market West Center !

The work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8 :

• 00 AM - 1 : 00 PM .

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities Organize, prepare, and deliver breakfast, lunch, and snacks to classrooms, ensuring all meals align with the menu and accommodate dietary needs and allergies.
• Monitor food and supply inventory; place weekly orders per CACFP, Kremmer’s, and Novick guidelines.
• Verify deliveries against invoices and promptly address any discrepancies.
• Complete daily meal count forms and inventory sheets.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with food program requirements.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and appliances regularly.
• Perform monthly deep-cleaning tasks and adhere to all health and safety standards.
• Check and log refrigerator and freezer temperatures daily, reporting any issues immediately.
• Update and distribute food allergy and preference lists.
• Ensure all classrooms are stocked with necessary dining supplies.
• Qualifications Minimum, High School Diploma / GED Food Protection Manager Certification, required Abide by all CACFP requirements Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents / guardians Ability to maintain high level standards of confidentiality regarding center, staff, and family matters.
• Proficient in managing a multicultural classroom environment.
