The nanny’s day begins at 9 : 00 a.m., supporting the child after his early morning routine.Primary responsibility is for the one year old, as mom is at home caring for the newborn.Responsibilities include preparing and feeding breakfast, followed by a walk or age-appropriate activity such as time in the bouncer or walker.The nanny will manage the nap schedule, putting him down for his first nap around 10 :
30 / 11 : 00 a.m. after a bottle, and caring for household tasks like dishes and laundry during this time.After the nap, the nanny will serve lunch (with meals prepped in advance) and plan engaging outdoor playtime at the park or other activities to encourage exploration and movement.A second nap occurs around 2 :
00–2 : 30 p.m. before the end of the shift.Throughout the day, the nanny will focus on developmental milestones, encouraging mimicking, pointing, repeating words, and practicing skills with age-appropriate toys.Additional priorities include supporting social-emotional growth by modeling manners, encouraging clean-up, helping the child navigate emotions, and building early self-regulation skills, all while creating a fun, active, and nurturing environment.Driving will be required, but the family has a vehicle for the nanny to use.Position Highlights :
