job_description.job_card.job_descriptionInterviewing, examining, and diagnosing patients' injuries and illnesses. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. Prescribing medications and suggesting lifestyle changes. Performing Office Based Procedures after training with the physician. Performing Aesthetic Procedures after training with the physician and / or aestheticians. Reviewing and maintaining patients' medical histories and records and recording patients' progress. Providing documentation for insurance companies. Educating and counseling patients and their families. Researching the latest treatments, innovations, advances, and trends in the medical industry. A master's degree in physician assistant education. Clinical training experience, and the willingness to complete 100 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain certification. Texas State License to practice medicine. Strong analytical and technical skills. Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills. Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills. The ability to treat patients with compassion and empathy. High moral character.
We are looking for a qualified physician assistant to be responsible for providing family-focused care in our clinic at Touch of Grace Family Medicine and providing health and wellness care in our adjacent health spa, Lilies Toil Not MediSpa.
Position Overview :
- You will develop treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases, educate patients on disease prevention, perform diagnostic tests, learn to do office based surgical procedures, and manage overall patient care.
- To be successful as our physician assistant, you should provide primary, acute, chronic, and specialty care for illnesses affecting any member of the family from birth through geriatrics.
- Our physician assistant should display a professional, yet nurturing personality while consistently providing excellent patient care with a strong emphasis on wellness and disease prevention.
