The Material Handler supports manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, components, and finished goods are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently.

This role is a key link in maintaining inventory integrity, supporting production flow, and meeting customer quality standards in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming materials, components, and supplies.
  • Stage and deliver materials to production areas per work orders and schedules.
  • Return unused materials to proper storage locations, ensuring correct labeling and traceability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting of discrepancies.
  • Organize, label, and store materials to ensure accessibility, compliance, and product identification standards.
  • Package and prepare finished goods for shipment in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Follow established procedures for handling controlled or sensitive materials.
  • Support compliance with FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and communicate them to leadership.

Adhere to safety procedures, ensuring a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work environment.         Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.         Physical Requirements :

  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Regular handling of boxes, containers, and materials weighing 25–50 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 60 lbs unassisted; team lifts or mechanical aids required for heavier loads.
  • Ability to climb step stools or small ladders to access shelving.
  • Repetitive grasping, holding, and handling products and packaging materials.
  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment with moving machinery, moderate noise, airborne particles, and occasional use of cleaning or packaging chemicals.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection must be worn as required.
