About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Analyst to join our Production Development & Strategic Finance team. This role is perfect for a young, driven professional with a background in investment banking who is passionate about media, entertainment, and technology. You will play a crucial role in analyzing and green lighting new film and television projects, supporting key financial decisions, and driving the growth of our new streaming service, Wonder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Financial Modeling and Analysis : Apply your investment banking skills to create detailed financial models for new film and TV show production budgets, assessing profitability, and evaluating the long-term value of our intellectual property.
  • Content and Production Development : Work with our creative and production teams to evaluate the commercial viability of scripts and story pitches, providing data-driven insights to inform our content slate.
  • Strategic Financial Planning : Assist in forecasting financial performance, preparing presentations for investors, and supporting fundraising efforts.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis : Conduct in-depth research on audience trends, content performance, and competitor streaming strategies to inform our content acquisition and production decisions.
  • Business Operations and Planning : Work with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows and ensure that financial plans align with our creative and strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an Analyst or Senior Analyst in an investment banking, or private equity role.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to explain complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • A passion for the entertainment industry and an understanding of the production process and the streaming business model.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
