The Travel Specialist is responsible for booking and following up on travel reservations including air, hotel, and car rentals for clinicians and internal corporate employees. This role is responsible for achieving individual and contractual service level goals related to telephone, quality, and productivity as well as monitoring, sorting, and working global distribution system (GDS) queues to maintain quality control daily. Worldspan or Sabre experience preferred.
Travel Bookings - 100%
Books travel requests made by Customer Care Specialists on behalf of clinicians within assigned divisions
Researches travel issues and takes corrective action
Works with Travel, Inc. corporate or Travel, Inc. consultants to learn new software and take ongoing GDS training
Keeps management well informed of area activities and of any significant problems
Completes assigned documentation in an accurate and timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS
~ High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
~1+ years of related corporate travel experience required
~ Worldspan or Sabre native
