Job Details

The Assistant Controller will play a key role in guiding financial strategies and ensuring operational efficiency. This position partners closely with senior leadership to deliver insights that drive informed business decisions, while also providing hands-on oversight of core accounting functions in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly accounting close and financial reporting processes
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to align with growth objectives
  • Manage external audit processes and serve as liaison with auditors
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives across finance operations
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
  • Prepare and distribute monthly reporting packages with clear variance analysis
  • Monitor performance through actual vs. budget variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and other applicable regulations
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting / finance experience
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general financial systems
  • Proven ability to make sound independent decisions in day-to-day operations
  • Eligibility to work with ITAR-regulated products and data without restrictions
