Job Summary
The Clinical Resource Coordinator is a Registered Nurse responsible for the overall education, development, and training of clinical staff through collaboration with the Clinical Administrator, Director, and Clinical Staff Leaders. The CRC will be responsible for conducting individual and group staff educational programs; including orientation, inservices, workshops and development of educational materials. They will also participate in outreach education as requested. The Coordinator will provide hands on training, evaluate competency and perform clinical care when necessary. The Coordinator functions independently and in collaboration with other health care providers. The Coordinator is also responsible for coordination of area specific quality processes.

Department Position Summary
The Clinical Resource Coordinator is a Registered Nurse responsible for the overall education, development, and training of clinical staff through collaboration with the Clinical Administrator, Director, and department leaders. The role may also include direct and indirect patient care. The scope includes assisting with Nursing Services Orientation, the Nurse Residency program, development and coordination of the annual credentialing process, assisting in education and evaluation of new products. This position is also responsible for designing and implementing in-services and educational programs for Erlanger staff and other health care providers. The Coordinator is responsible for evaluating staff competency in collaboration with department leadership, to ensure staff have the knowledge and skills needed to provide care appropriate to the age and acuity of the patients served, and to educate adult learners. The Clinical Resource Coordinator must interpret information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to population-specific needs and provide care per unit policies and procedures.
