Salary : Starting at $47,000

Your Role as a Behavioral Consultant :

• Assess Student Behavior : Evaluate the initial and ongoing behavioral strengths and needs of students according to school assessment protocols and timelines.
• Attend Meetings : Actively participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other relevant school meetings.
• Develop Behavior Goals : Create behavior goals for the IEP and develop Positive Behavior Support Plans for students.
• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) : Perform FBAs for students, as needed, under the direction of a BCBA.
• Data Collection System : Develop a system for staff to collect data that supports interventions and track behavioral changes.
• Analyze Data & Create Behavior Plans : Analyze FBA results and data sheets to develop individualized behavior intervention plans, using input from others involved with the student.
• Track Behavior Data : Collect and graph behavior data recorded by school staff to analyze the effectiveness of the Positive Behavior Support Plan.
