Schedule : Full-time 36 hours

The unit provides general psychiatric care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. 2 South Overview The 2 South inpatient unit consists of 24 psychiatric beds. The inpatient unit is under the overall supervision and medical direction of the Chief of Psychiatry and Director of Inpatient Psychiatric Nursing. It is a multidisciplinary, full service, therapeutic environment with an eclectic approach. It offers intensive individual, group, family, activity, occupational, and somatic therapies within a therapeutic setting run by a team of nurses, doctors, social workers, psychologists and occupational therapists. Psychological testing and ECT is available when indicated.
