About the Role :

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Technology team as an AI Technical Lead based in Shelton, CT. The AI Tech Lead has prior industry and technology experience, and will be responsible for end-to-end development and deployment of Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI) models. They translate complex data into AI-driven solutions that can perform autonomously in real-time environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on technologist who thrives in driving AI strategies from concept to production including writing code, deploying models to production, and continuously monitoring and updating as needed. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a proven track record of developing scalable AI solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Technical Team Leadership - Takes 100% responsibility for an engineering project coordinating efforts across teams to achieve a common goal

• Proactively identifies problems / risks for all domain in a project and communicates these issues early to help course-correct.
• Expert ability to estimate level of effort necessary to complete project.
• Collaborates across multiple domains on a project level.
• Ability to use negotiation and persuasion to build consensus and gain cooperation.
• Holds the team accountable to best practices for engineering standards and deployment practices.

AI / ML Solution Development - Lead design and development of ML and GenAI solutions in production environments.
