Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and professionalism will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll interact with employees and visitors, respond to security-related situations, and uphold our company's values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Sat 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM Sun 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location, helping to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor the site for unusual behavior, hazards, or potential security-related threats, reporting issues promptly.

Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to address concerns and maintain a secure environment.

Document incidents and patrol activities as required, maintaining accurate records.

Adapt to varying working environments and conditions that may be present at the location.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
