Security Officer - Residential Patrol - Full Time

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for a residential community in Seattle, WA. Your responsibilities will include conducting patrols throughout the property, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and engaging with residents and visitors to provide exceptional customer service. You will have the opportunity to interact with people daily, assist in resolving concerns, and contribute to a positive atmosphere. Pay Rate : $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon05 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

Tue05 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

Fri05 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

Sat05 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

Sun05 : 00 PM - 01 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential community in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
