Michigan Licensed Insurance Specialist

A company is looking for an Insurance Specialist to work remotely in Michigan.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and verify the accuracy of financial, insurance, and demographic information for patients

Obtain and confirm benefit, co-pay, deductible, and co-insurance information prior to patient discharge

Resolve issues related to primary insurance and coordination of benefits (COB)

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Two years of experience in healthcare insurance eligibility, verification, or billing

Experience with insurance payor systems

EPIC training / experience preferred

Familiarity with ICD-10 medical terminology preferred
