About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager 3 with deep experience in technology project management and software development . This role involves leading enterprise-scale IT projects, coaching Agile teams, and working directly with stakeholders in a state agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead large-scale software development projects from planning through delivery.

Act as an Agile Coach and Leader , ensuring best practices are followed.

Administer and manage projects using JIRA (dashboards, workflows, reports).

Partner with state agency teams to ensure compliance and smooth delivery.

Collaborate with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to drive results.

Oversee project risks, timelines, and communication with executive leadership.

Qualifications

20+ years of Technology Project Management (software development focus).

8+ years as an Agile Coach / Leader .

8+ years software development project experience.

8+ years using JIRA as a project administrator.

8+ years experience working with state agencies .

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience delivering modernization projects in government or public sector.

Ability to mentor and coach cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational skills with a focus on outcomes and results.
