Manual Machinist - Lathe

Overview :

Bethlehem, PA : Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to perform finish machining practices including turning, boring, drilling, and threading operations while maintaining close tolerances on a variety of components. The ideal candidate will be fluent with Fanuc controls, able to read and interpret drawings, understand G-Code, and ensure compliance with all specifications and quality requirements.

Essential Duties :

• Perform lathe machining, including turning, boring, drilling, and threading.
• Operate and monitor machines using Fanuc controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints, G-Code, and work instructions.
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, etc.) to verify tolerances.
• Adjust feeds, maintain proper temperatures, and identify issues during machining.
• Maintain serviceable hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
• Operate lifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with company safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform other machining-related tasks as required.
