Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a rotating Operating Room position requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the hospital Operating Room (OR)
  • Rotating shifts including nights (7 : 00pm–7 : 30am) and possible evening hours (up to 9 : 30pm or 11 : 30pm)
  • No call requirements, but possible weekend shifts
  • Uses EPIC as the charting system; prior experience is beneficial
  • 13-week contract
  • Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
  • Parking may not be validated; public transportation and paid parking options available
  • Requires completion of timekeeping through UKG / Kronos system
  • Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for standard rate
  • Professional references may be required for consideration

    • Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted MA RN license required at the time of consideration; no conditional or pending licenses accepted
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • No specified minimum experience required
