Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in spokane, Washington.

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 / week Position Details

Unit : 8S Neuro / Telemetry – Req 9248

Experience Required : 1+ year Neuro / Tele; first-time travelers accepted

Float : Yes, between units as needed

On-Call : No

Weekends : Every other weekend

Block Scheduling : Not guaranteed

Ratios : 1 : 5 typical

Charting : Epic (required)

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Skills Required

Chest tubes (Emerson / PleurEvac), Craniotomy, CVA, CPAP / BiPAP, Dysrhythmia interpretation & management, Neuro Stepdown, Pre / Post Neurosurgery, Procedural sedation, Spinal cord injury, TBI, Telemetry

Unit Highlights

Designations :

Designated Stroke Unit – Thrombectomy Capable (JCAHO)

Spine Center of Excellence (JCAHO)

Level 3 Epilepsy Center (NAEC)

Support Services : IV Team, PT, RT, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Pharmacy, RRT, Social Services, Transport, Unit Secretary

Patient Population : Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric

Census : ~48 patients; 64 beds total

Additional Notes

Modules : Avg. 16 hours (non-billable, pre-start)

Travelers may float between sister facilities—refusal may lead to termination / DNR
