Instructional Designer

Trimble Inc. seeks an Instructional Designer for its AECO Sales Enablement department. This hourly role offers a 24‑hour week.

Location

Lake Oswego, OR or Westminster, CO

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Trimble’s Sales Enablement team, subject matter experts, and sales leadership to build and publish sales communications and training materials.

Record, edit, and produce video content.

Design and develop eLearning content.

Package eLearning and videos into learning modules.

Create learning aids and communications.

Create, update, and maintain intranet pages that support the sales audience.

Develop communication plans to support events and launches.

Create instructional materials that are functional, intuitive, informative, interactive, and consistent with sound instructional design principles to assist product and skills training.

Use adult learning best practices to identify learning objectives, performance outcomes, and evaluative strategies to deliver content.

Consult with program managers and subject matter experts to identify learning gaps and content requirements and audit content for ADA compliance.

Provide training administration support, including adding content to learning / content management systems, inviting / assigning learners, and running, managing, and communicating training reports.

Ensure all materials adhere to Product Marketing and Sales Enablement standards.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, Educational Technology, Learning & Development, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of work experience in learning and development, talent development, knowledge management, instructional design, or organizational development, preferably with a software company.

Experience using multimedia authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe) to develop online learning.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work collaboratively in a complex, changing business environment, including remote and in‑office team members.

Time‑management and problem‑solving skills, adaptable to changing priorities.

Customer‑service orientation and commitment to delivering timely, quality solutions.

Experience with sales enablement, revenue operations, adult learning, instructor‑led training development, and creating job aids, presentation materials, and sales support materials.

Experience with technical writing.

Experience managing an LMS, including user administration, content deployment, troubleshooting, and reporting.

Knowledge of Google Suite.

Compensation

Hourly rate : $27.50–$35.72. Salary is based on a full‑time schedule. No set bonus; commission eligible.
