Lead Maintenance Technician - 3300 Tamarac

Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity with a growing company? We are a large regional property management firm looking for an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team at our 3300 Tamarac Apartments in Denver, CO!

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the physical integrity of the community; anticipate, identify and correct maintenance problems.
  • Oversee resident service requests; correct issues within 24 hours when possible.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance; schedule and perform routine equipment maintenance.
  • Manage maintenance staff; support training and safety first attitude.
  • Diagnose and repair minor and routine maintenance; complete make-ready repairs on schedule.
  • Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate records of work, preventive maintenance, service requests, costs, and inventory.
  • Maintain safety compliance (HAZCOM, OSHA, EPA regulations). Conduct safety meetings.
  • Assist with emergency calls and business-hours property emergencies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by manager or property supervisor.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of property maintenance experience or equivalent field; high school graduate or equivalent (or 5 years experience).
  • Experience in all trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) a must.
  • Valid driver's license with proof of current liability insurance.
  • Strong customer service attitude, flexibility, teamwork.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work on-call rotation.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical concepts, HVAC, and state-regulated certifications where required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in outdoor / indoor environments, and use safety gear.
  • Compensation & Benefits

  • $28–$30 / hour DOE
  • Monthly bonuses
  • 10 days PTO per year; 9 paid holidays; 2 personal days; 48 hours paid sick.
