Job Summary : Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a clinical setting. This role supports the delivery of health services by assisting with patient management and clinical tasks tailored to the practice's needs.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear instructions to patients.
- Ensure smooth healthcare service delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examination, recording vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints accurately.
- Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, document findings, and ensure patient understanding of discharge instructions.
- Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings, managing sample medications, and coordinating referrals and patient testing.
- Perform laboratory tests as prescribed and maintain laboratory logs.
- Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.
Education and Experience Required :
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.Work Shift : 1st Shift, full-time (40 hours per week)
