LDPI, Inc., headquartered in Eau Claire, WI provides hazardous location and specialty industrial lighting. We are hiring a strategic, execution-focused Product and Project Manager to lead new product development and cross-functional initiatives that will define our next phase of growth.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the full product lifecycle – from initial concept and market research to design, launch, and continuous improvement. You'll own the roadmap, aligning innovation with customer needs and LDPI's strategic goals.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives by collaborating closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth communication, efficient development, and successful project execution.
  • Oversee complex projects with precision , managing budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure milestones are met and deliverables exceed expectations.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable strategies , turning feedback and market trends into next-generation lighting products and solutions that define industry standards.
  • Monitor performance metrics and key deliverables , analyzing data to optimize results, improve efficiency, and drive continuous product and process improvement.
  • Champion innovation and quality , ensuring LDPI's products continue to meet the highest standards for performance, safety, and reliability in demanding industrial environments.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in product and / or project management , ideally within manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related technical field where precision and performance matter.
  • Proven success managing the entire product lifecycle , including concept development, design coordination, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset , with the ability to communicate clearly, influence across teams, and keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Strong technical acumen , with familiarity in tools such as CAD, ERP, or PLM systems – helping you bridge the gap between engineering and business objectives.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills , enabling you to make data-driven decisions that enhance product performance and profitability.
  • Bonus points for professional certifications , such as PMP, Scrum, or Agile methodologies, which demonstrate your ability to lead complex projects using modern management frameworks.
  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Product Design (or equivalent experience in a related field).
  • Master's degree (MBA or technical discipline) preferred, showcasing advanced expertise in business strategy, innovation, or engineering principles.
