Civil Engineer or Civil Designer

Position Description

As a Civil Engineer or Designer, you will integrate the process of document production with a more detailed understanding of design and systems components. This position will be exposed to Civil and water / wastewater design along with calculations, specifications, and an expanded understating of codes with a continuum advanced practice of three-dimensional AutoCAD and Civil 3D and production of site design. A Civil Engineer or Designer of this level will have the ability to take small to medium sized projects from conception to final design with little input from a senior engineer.

Position Salary Range

The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 annually.

Required Qualifications

• 4 to 10 years of project experience
• ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited degree in Civil Engineering
• A Professional Engineering License in the State of job posting or other states preferred or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge and skills of AutoCAD Civil 3D, proficient with WaterCAD, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, ArchGIS, as well as Bluebeam, Outlook, Microsoft Office. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work with engineering concepts in real world applications
• The ability to work independently as a project engineer on various projects
• Proficiency in technical writing
• The ability to take small to medium sized projects from conception to final design with little input from a senior engineer
