Job Title : Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) Primary Care

Location & commitments
Full Time, Monday-Friday, 7 : 30a.m. – 5 : 30 p.m.
Overtime may be required to ensure patients are taken care, tasks are completed, and calls are returned in a timely manner. Weekend work is rare but can occasionally be necessary.
Supervision Received : Reports to Department Physicians, area manager(s) and Chief Operating Officer.
Supervision Exercised : None.
Typical Physical Demands : (Example) Requires prolonged standing or sitting. Requires frequent bending, stooping, or stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment.

About the role
Provides professional medical care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Involves standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires normal visual acuity and hearing. Requires working under stress in emergency situations or during irregular hours. Requires exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic / hospital environment.
