We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our front-of-house team. As the face of our butcher shops retail side, youll be responsible for providing exceptional service while guiding customers through our selection of high-end meats, specialty foods, and gourmet products. This role is perfect for someone with retail experience who enjoys working with people and appreciates quality food.
Responsibilities :
Greet customers and provide knowledgeable assistance with product selection.Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and handle cash / credit transactions.Maintain attractive, well-stocked displays of high-end retail products.Educate customers on specialty items, pairings, and preparation suggestions.Support butcher staff by relaying customer requests and preparing orders for pickup.Ensure the retail area is clean, organized, and inviting at all times.Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating products to ensure freshness.Uphold company standards for customer service and product knowledge.Qualifications :
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, ideally in specialty food, grocery, or high-end retail.Previous experience with TOAST POS system preferredFriendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.Passion for food and willingness to learn about premium meats and gourmet products.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.Schedule & Benefits :
