The Position :

We are looking for an adaptable and goal-oriented Superintendent to join our tight-knit team! In this role, you will oversee all phases of a project and ensure that standard operating procedures are being met, as well as ensuring safety procedures are being followed. You will be responsible for managing project schedules and the procurement of materials needed for each project. You will also attend scheduled meetings with the Project Manager to provide updates and address any concerns that arise.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Oversees / supervises projects from beginning to completion to make sure that specs are followed and completed under Standard Operating Procedures guidelines.
  • Schedules and coordinates subcontractors and crews.
  • Encourages and enforces company and OSHA Safety program.
  • Manages progress updates with crews and subcontractors.
  • Informs Project Managers of changes, problems, or plan discrepancies.
  • Keeps regular accounts in the form of daily reports and photos in Procore on a daily basis.
  • Ensures the quality of work is within the guidelines of construction documents using B&D quality control standards.
  • This role provides supervision to others through motivation, direction, review, and feedback of assigned tasks.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related industry; construction or landscape construction experience preferred.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • On-the-job training in landscaping, hardscaping, lawn maintenance, and / or construction required.

    • Desired Skills :

  • Ability to plan accordingly and manage time
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to build relationships
  • Ability to make decisions and manage conflicts
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices
