We are looking for a full-time tax preparer / tax accountant to join our firm.

The job is currently 100% in office, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. with extended hours during the March- April and September- October busy seasons. We do not work Sundays and we do work half-days on Saturdays during busy season.

Candidate should be able to prepare individual, trust, and business tax returns to the point of review.

Candidate needs to have familiarity with the tax code and accompanying Treasury regulations or have familiarity with researching the tax code for our client's questions.

Candidate should be proficient at Microsoft office products

Preference is given to candidates that have worked with :

QuickBooks Desktop and / or Online, Xero, or Drake Tax

Experience with Sales and Use tax returns, Business Tax (TN Gross Receipts Tax), and Tangible Personal Property Tax.

Current CPA or EA will be heavily considered even without relevant experience

You should be proficient in :

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Basic Computer Skills
