Summary
The Renaissance Montessori Academy in Parker, Colorado, is seeking an early childhood Teacher or Assistant Teacher to work as a floater in the morning and nap room teacher in the afternoon, daily from 8 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm. This position is for the 2025-2026 School Year and runs through May 22, 2026, with the possibility of moving to another position for the summer and next school year depending on enrollment and budget.
This position will support each classroom by providing breaks and substituting as needed. RMA is a growing school, and opportunities for advancement and increased hours often arise.
RMA is a small non-profit Montessori school supporting children aged 2.5 through Elementary.
Duties
As an RMA employee you would be working with a close team to support the growth and education of children 2.5 through Elementary.
Job details
- Support all children and classrooms for teacher breaks, nap room, meals, outdoor time, part of after-school, and subbing duties as needed
- Support outside play with children
- Support indoor play with children
- If interested, support and create a curriculum for summer activities during summer camp
- If you are a native Spanish speaker, possibility to run a Spanish program as well

Job Requirements :
Must be Colorado Early Childhood Teacher or Assistant Teacher Qualified, or be willing to obtain within 6 monthsEnsure a schedule to maintain 15 credits of continuing education in ECEUphold the Montessori Pedagogical GuidelinesBe willing and able to support and / or lead classrooms if necessaryBe prompt, flexible, and a team playerBe a dedicated model for lifelong learningBring positivity and a forward-thinking mindset to the work environmentBe willing to submit the requirements for early childhood background checksBe able to work in the United StatesBenefits
