About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (07 : 00 - 17 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 1 year travel experience required

License : Must hold a valid state license

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, and either CCI RCIS or ARRT R required

Must-Have : Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted

Description :

Start date is 2 weeks from offer for compliance requirements.

Shifts are 4x10s from 07 : 00 to 17 : 30, Monday through Friday, with call required two days during the week and every third weekend.

The minimum of 1 year experience is required, and candidates must have travel experience.

Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and either CCI RCIS or ARRT R.

Rotating weekday and weekend on-call is a requirement.

Charting is done using an Epic system.

Candidate should possess skills in various interventional procedures including angiolasty, cardiac mapping, and stent placement.

Experience in accessing / managing ports, central venous access, and monitoring hemodynamics is preferred.

Candidate must demonstrate competency in maintaining sterile fields and equipment inventory, along with scrubbing procedures.

Additional skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing emergency protocols are essential.

Interdisciplinary support is available from respiratory services, social services, and rapid response teams.

Patient demographics involve adult patients, with a daily census expected to be around 10.

Candidates should be prepared for a collaborative work environment focusing on quality patient care.
