Newscast / Digital Producer

WKEF has an immediate opening for a News and Digital producer! In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing and helping edit our Saturday and Sunday evening newscasts. A few days a week you’ll also be helping produce digital content across all our social media platforms and writing stories for our website. This is a tremendous opportunity to break into television news and quickly develop long-lasting skills you’ll utilize throughout your career. The main responsibilities of this role will include : Write and help edit stories for our weekend newscasts. Work closely with reporters, directors and photographers to maximize our resources each weekend. You will be responsible for shaping the structure and flow of the weekend newscasts. On select days, you will also support our digital presence by publishing updates across social media platforms and contributing written content to our website.
