Our client is seeking a  Manufacturing Engineer.

This is a direct-hire   opportunity located in West MI.

Summary :

• Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements by applying established operational standards.  Prepare method instructions to include tool identification, standard processing conditions, equipment specifications, operational sequences, material routings, standard time requirements, and labor efficiency.
• Analyze and improve  existing manufacturing processes from cradle to grave.
• Own continuous improvement projects , driving measurable gains in quality, efficiency, safety, and ergonomics.
• Support cross-functional teams  with root cause analysis, CAPAs, and defect reduction (e.g., mold cracking, non-fills).
• Develop and implement standards , training materials, and SOPs for operators and leaders.
• Lead or assist in capital projects -from ROI justification to implementation.
• Support environmental compliance , including hazardous material disposal and site audits.
• Take over process auditing responsibilities , including ISO compliance and external / internal audits.
