A prestigious AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a skilled and driven Associate Attorney to join its highly-regarded Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Litigation Practice Group. Candidate Profile
JD from a top‑tier law school with a strong academic record
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
3–6 years of substantive experience representing parties in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings and creditors' rights litigation
Bankruptcy & Restructuring Expertise
Demonstrated experience with complex corporate restructurings, including debtor and creditor representations in Chapter 11 and Chapter 9 municipal insolvency cases
Litigation Experience : Excel in drafting discovery motion practice, and court appearances for bankruptcy-related disputes.
Additional Transactional Background : Familiarity with distressed asset acquisitions and out-of-court restructurings is a plus
Soft Skills : Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; and sound judgment are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in corporate restructurings and bankruptcy litigation matters, including Chapter 11 and Chapter 9 proceedings
Provide strategic guidance to both creditors and debtors in complex insolvency cases
Assist with acquisitions of distressed assets and corporate workouts, both in and out of court
Draft pleadings, prepare discovery, and manage motion practice in high‑stakes litigation
Collaborate closely with partners and clients in a fast‑paced, team‑driven environment

Competitive Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range : $210,000.00 / yr - $305,000.00 / yr
