• This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in either the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.
• \n\nDuties and Responsibilities : \n
• Provides medical services at the scope and level of a Registered Nurse to preserve the health of employees and client personnel.\n
• Systematically assesses the urgent or emergent health needs of patients, analyzes data, and formulates a plan of care, with other members of the medical team, which is realistic in relation to the employee's capabilities and job requirements.\n
• Recognizes and treats illnesses and injuries according to established operating instructions within the scope of licensure and regulations of state employment or practice.\n
• Responsible for ensuring integrity and security of all privacy laws\n
• Responds to a variety of inquiries of varying complexity by using knowledge and an understanding of established policies, procedures, and practices for safeguarding information (HIPAA, PHI, PII), including maintaining confidentiality of all company proprietary information.\n
• Relies on research, cognitive reasoning and follow-up skills to complete tasks, fact-checking information to verify and document information, ensuring applicability, feasibility, and data integrity.\n
• Proactively multi-tasks on a variety of assignments; provides thorough work while maintaining a sense of urgency based on program needs.\n
• Maintains professionalism, ethical standards, discretion, candor, privacy and confidentiality of all company proprietary information, meetings, communication, and documents, including implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization.\n
• Records and maintains patient information in accordance with standard protocols, and the Privacy Act.\n
• Identifies and records the signs and symptoms of physical and mental conditions.\n
• Thoroughly exercises skill in initiative, judgment, problem-solving and decision-making daily.\n
• Protects patients' privacy through confidentiality, infection control procedures, assuring consistent medication administration, and assuring proper storage and maintenance procedures for all equipment and supplies.\n
• Performs duties in a safe manner and follows the corporate safety policy.\n
• Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contract requirements.\n\nQualifications : \n
• Graduated from an accredited Nursing school.\n
• Active and unrestricted RN State License and the ability to be favorably credentialed.\n
• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.\n
• ACLS and BLS certification.\n
• Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills\n
• Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required.\n
• Must be able to perform duties in a stressful and high paced environment without physical limitations.\n
• Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements to include potential shift changes based on operational needs and / or command priorities.\n
• Must be a US citizen or be a permanent resident residing in the US for 3 of the past 5 years.\n\nPreferred Qualifications : \n
• Current adjudicated Department of Homeland Security clearance.\n
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.\n\nPhysical Requirements and Work Conditions : \n
• Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.\n
