Overview

Front-End Engineer II, Prime Video - Content and Data Platform. This role focuses on building scalable and performant user interfaces with reusable frontend components, collaborating with backend engineers and scientists to shape the future of digital entertainment delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Drive strategic decision-making on critical UI feature development, from design through implementation to deployment
• Design and implement scalable, reusable frontend components for multiple applications while solving complex UI challenges
• Lead technical decisions around frontend architecture, including framework selection, build systems, and rendering strategies
• Work closely with UX designers and product managers to create intuitive, high-performance user experiences
• Collaborate with engineering and science teams to deliver GenAI powered initiatives
• Mentor other frontend engineers and establish development best practices while fostering a frontend engineering community
• Maintain and raise the technical bar across all frontend development
• Balance technical excellence with user experience to drive consumer-facing impact at global scale
