Position Overview
The Plant Manager is responsible for directing and optimizing all aspects of plant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role oversees production, maintenance, and logistics, while driving financial performance, compliance, and organizational culture. The Plant Manager serves as the key link between the plant, headquarters, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and continuous improvement goals.

- Direct reports : Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, Quality Supervisor, Admin & Production Planning Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead daily plant operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization.Develop and execute strategies to achieve plant financial results and operational objectives.Define, track, and report on KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.Manage and develop plant teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Champion a culture of operational excellence throughout the organization.Implement and supervise Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other process optimization methodologies.Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor, and environmental regulations, as well as Group policies.Oversee product quality, timely deliveries, and production costs, initiating corrective actions where required.Represent the plant to external organizations, auditors, and the Group’s management board.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Management, Business Administration, or a related field.8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven ability in process optimization, KPI management, and financial analysis.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and ISO quality systems.Proficiency in MS Office applications at intermediate level or higher.Fluent in conversational Spanish; able to conduct meetings and daily communications with workforce and headquartersFamiliarity with health & safety, labor law, and environmental regulations.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in plastics processing or a closely related manufacturing sector.Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).Prior experience leading international operations.Skills and Abilities
