The Field Supervisor oversees the CARES department's safety and security operations during an assigned shift and supervision of Community Safety Officers. This position involves both supervisory responsibilities of Community Safety Officers, Access Attendants and Dispatchers, and the execution of safety and security duties, maintaining order, enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, and performing executive / close protection duties as directed by competent authority. The Field Supervisor is a visible and proactive presence who leads security staff, monitors public safety, and supports college operationsparticularly during times when no other supervisory personnel are present.

Core Responsibilities :

Private Detail and Security Duties : may include, but not be limited to :

• Conduct foot and / or vehicle patrols (interior and exterior).
• Control access / egress at campus and building entry points.
• Monitor CCTV, fire / life safety, and intrusion alarm systems.
• Deter and report criminal activity, policy violations, or safety risks.
• Safeguard persons and property against fire, theft, vandalism, or other threats.
• Conduct advance site assessments and route planning to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Provide close personal protection and maintain constant vigilance during all movements.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, event security, and transportation teams.

Salary Range : $75,000 - $80,000 annually

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
