HVAC Project Manager / Plumbing Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing HVAC projects with a focus on both residential and commercial installations. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the execution of HVAC projects from start to finish.
- Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians and subcontractors.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Monitor project progress and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC project management.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, air-conditioning, and ductwork.Proven track record of successfully managing residential and commercial HVAC projects.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, take-offs, and buyouts.Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Procore, Timberline, and CAD.OSHA 30 certification (assistance available for obtaining).Experience in ground-up or retrofit projects.Experience with electrical trade and HVAC sheet metal.PMP Certification.Work Environment
Work hours are from 7 am to 4 pm, with projects located in Hartford, Fairfield, and Litchfield Counties. The role involves attending jobsite meetings, purchasing materials, overseeing the scope of work, and ensuring projects are under budget and ahead of schedule. The work setting includes HVAC, plumbing, and piping installation in commercial buildings.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00 / yr.
