POSITION TITLE : Heavy Equipment Operator (Pot Carrier, Truck Driver, Haul Truck)
Reports To : Site or Mill Services Manager
Overview of Position :
- Perform on-site heavy equipment operations.
- Loading, extracting, and transporting materials including molten steel.
- Handling components, modules, and systems of heavy equipment
- Converting heavy equipment with various mobile accessories
- Observing relevant safety, accident prevention, and environmental regulations
- Perform routine and Pre / Post Trip inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to the supervisor.
- Clean equipment
- Maintain and protect all property.
- Maintain all required certifications required by OSHA and company safety programs.
- Provide outstanding customer service operations.
- Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
