About the Role

Life Long Learners Child Development Center is growing , and were looking for an experienced, visionary Director to help us build a thriving, playful, and high-performing culture. Youll lead a team of passionate educators, shape center operations, support families, and ensure were delivering the joyful, quality care were known for.

We're not just hiring a Director, we're looking for a cultural leader who believes that early childhood education is powerful, sacred work.

  • Can lead a team of teachers who sing off-key but with heart, wear costumes without shame, and read The Very Hungry Caterpillar 87 times with enthusiasm.
  • Know how to connect with kids crawling on your lap while answering a licensing call.
  • Have eyes on the back of your head (or can fake it convincingly).
  • Arent afraid to wear 12 metaphorical hats in one day : mentor, nurse, coach, counselor, DJ, potty-training guru.
  • Can handle raw honesty from toddlers and share deep empathy with their families.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where fun is mandatory , kindness is currency , and relationships are everything .

  • Salary : $45,000 $70,000 based on experience and qualifications

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience as an Assistant Director or Director in ECE (Preferred)
  • Must meet all DCFS qualifications for Director role
  • Must pass all background checks and licensing requirements
  • Most of all, you must genuinely love children and leadership. We can teach skills we cant teach heart.
