Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with current WA license and recent skilled home health hospice experience for a day shift home health assignment.
Responsibilities
Work in a home health setting with an adult patient populationDay shift position, Monday through Friday, no weekend or call requirementsTypical caseload includes 4-6 patient visits per day, with 27-30 productivity points standard based on territoryPatients are grouped by territory to minimize drive time, with occasional travel up to a 100-mile radiusCharting in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB), experience requiredDocumentation tools provided and must be returned upon completion of assignmentMileage reimbursement offered at IRS standard ratesAny color scrubs may be wornFirst-time travelers are acceptedNo weekend or on-call requirementMust submit requested time off (RTO) at time of applicationFormer permanent employees must have at least 6 months separation and HR approval to return as a travelerTravel pairs are allowed, but each traveler will be assigned their own territory and must have their own transportationFree parking availableRequirements
Current WA Occupational Therapist license requiredNBCOT certification requiredMinimum 1 year of recent skilled hospice home health experience within the last 3 years (inpatient experience not accepted)OASIS experience requiredCurrent BCLS certification requiredProficiency in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) preferredActive driver’s license and personal transportation requiredTimely communication and documentation are mandatoryCompletion of Hospice / Home Health Checklist requiredLicense required if applicableBenefits
