Audio / Visual Technician
Join River City Casino & Hotel as an Audio / Visual Technician responsible for operating, maintaining, installing and supporting sound, lighting, and video equipment for all entertainment programs.
Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot sound, lighting, and video equipment for entertainment programs.
- Perform preventative maintenance and log repairs; notify management of major malfunctions.
- Install, terminate, test, and label low voltage and AV cable types (CAT5 / 6, coax, speaker wire, sensors).
- Install and support AV components such as video displays, projectors, screens, and speakers.
- Assist with installation and termination of AV equipment racks and automation control systems.
- Perform start-up and basic debugging of AV and automation systems.
- Maintain records and inventory of cabling and equipment.
- Assist management in coordinating all performances and entertainment.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in Audio / Visual Technology strongly preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience in Audio / Visual for entertainment; casino or entertainment environment a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication; fluency in English.Advanced computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.Knowledge of AV automation (Crestron, BSS, PC-Music, iPTV) and control systems.General knowledge of AV cabling standards.Ability to work quickly, handle multiple responsibilities, and work under pressure.Strong customer service, teamwork, and confidentiality.Benefits
