Job Title : SPED Teacher (4th–5th Grade | ELA & Math | Push-In / Pull-Out)

Location : Wilmington, DE

Compensation : $65 per hour

Job Type : Full-Time

Schedule : Monday to Friday, In-Person

About the Role :

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for 4th and 5th grade students at one of our partner schools in Wilmington, DE. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and social development by providing individualized instruction and support.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and deliver Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs

Provide specialized instruction in line with state standards and student IEP goals

Create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment

Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success

Monitor and assess student progress, providing interventions and accommodations as needed

Maintain accurate records and comply with all school and district policies

Qualifications :

Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for the state of Delaware

Experience teaching upper elementary grades (4th–5th) preferred

Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt materials to meet individual student needs

Commitment to fostering an inclusive and student-centered learning environment
